Today’s biggest spreads

Real cards. Cheaper in one market than another. Right now.

The board a dealer opens every morning — buy where it’s cheap, sell where it isn’t, net of every fee.

From “what’s this worth?” to “where do I sell it?”

Three steps from a card in your hand to a buy-or-pass decision.

1

Scan or import

Point your camera at a card, or import your whole inventory by CSV. Bulk mode handles a full box in one pass.

2

See every market

Real sold prices across 35+ marketplaces in 7 regions, plus grading EV in dollars — every figure net of fees.

3

Take the spread

Hoshino ranks the biggest gaps by net profit and hands you the buy→sell route. You just decide yes or no.

Everything runs off the sold price.

One data spine — real completed sales worldwide — powering every tool.

Scan anything. Catalog everything.

Camera identification plus live value in about a second. Bulk mode stacks an entire box into your portfolio in one pass.

Real sold prices, worldwide

Recency-weighted medians of actual sales across the US, Japan, China, Korea, Europe and SE Asia. Asking prices never touch the number.

Grading math, answered in dollars

Grade probability times real graded sold prices, minus fees — per grader. The verdict reads GRADE, BORDERLINE, or DON’T.

Buy here, sell there

Cross-border routes priced net of venue fees, shipping and FX. The deal finder flags live listings sitting under the sold benchmark.

P&L, not vibes

Cost basis in, live value marked to real solds, realized and unrealized P&L net of fees. Import Collectr or Card Ladder; export tax-ready.

Sell anywhere

Comp-anchored listings from your holdings, floored at your cost basis. A show-mode gallery + public link for card-show buyers.

Hoshino taps you on the shoulder when money appears

Per-card alerts across every market on earth: a new listing anywhere, a deal past your %-under-median bar, a price drop, a fresh sold price — filtered by grade (raw, PSA 10, PSA 9, BGS, CGC), country, platform and price ceiling. In-app bell free on every plan; instant email from Scout up.

GRADING, DECIDED

The grade question, answered in dollars

Every grading app guesses a grade and stops. Hoshino finishes the math: the odds of each grade × what that grade actually sells for − the fee, run across PSA, CGC, Beckett and SGC. You get one answer in dollars — GRADE, BORDERLINE, or DON’T — and exactly how much the grade adds.

The same card. Seven markets. One of them is mispriced.

US-only trackers price a card off one market. Hoshino prices it off all seven it actually sells in — Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, Europe, SE Asia and the US — then shows you the cheapest place to buy and the highest to sell.

Who it’s for

Four ways to play the gap.

New collector or full-time dealer, the edge is the same: buy where a card is cheap, value it at what the world actually pays. Real sold prices, never asking — find the green.

New collector

See any card’s real sold price worldwide before you buy — so you never overpay for one that’s cheaper a market over. Free tools show you what’s genuinely rare and what only looks it.

Serious collector / investor

Your whole collection marked to real global prices, live — one honest number, not a US-only guess. See what’s climbing, what’s dipping, what to send for grading and when to sell.

Flipper

Buy-low, sell-high routes handed to you, ranked by profit and already net of fees, shipping and FX. You just decide yes or no — Hoshino does the exchange-rate and shipping math.

Dealer

Source inventory out of Japan, China and Korea cheaper than any US-only rival can even see. Reprice across every market and run the whole desk — prices, arbitrage, listings, alerts — from one terminal.

The number itself

Asking prices are opinions. Solds are facts.

An asking price is what a seller hopes for. A sold price is what a buyer actually paid. Most trackers average the hopes — from one market. Hoshino takes recency-weighted medians of completed sales across every major market on earth.

Why you can trust the number

No hype. No fake reviews. Just the number — and how fresh it is.

We’re new, so instead of made-up testimonials, here’s what’s actually real.

Sold prices, not asking

Every figure is a completed sale, recency-weighted. An asking price is a hope; a sold price is a fact — and only facts feed the number.

We show the dips too

When a card drops, our chart drops. We never scrub a decline to fake an uptrend — the losers stay on the record, so you can trust the wins.

Freshness is a number

Every price carries its own last-updated timestamp, so you know exactly how old it is before you act. See live coverage & freshness →

Questions, answered straight.

Does the spread survive fees, shipping and FX?
That's the whole point — a gross gap that dies after costs is worthless, so we don't show you one. Every spread is calculated net of the selling venue's fees, shipping, and the live exchange rate. If a card looks like an $87 gap but only nets $29 after the 13% marketplace fee, shipping and FX, we show you $29. And if it nets nothing, we don't surface it at all.
How fresh is the data, and what happens when a source breaks?
Prices update continuously and every card carries its own last-updated timestamp — you can always see how old a number is before you act on it. Our status page shows live coverage and freshness. We'd rather show you a stale flag than a confident wrong number, because in this business a bad price costs you real money.
Isn't this just another price tracker?
A price tracker tells you what a card is worth in one country. Hoshino tells you what it's worth in all 7 regions — and flags the ones where the gap is big enough to flip. That's not a tracker. That's a terminal.
I already use TCGplayer / Collectr. Why switch?
Keep them. They show you the US. Hoshino shows you everything they structurally can't — because the company that owns TCGplayer makes its money keeping you on eBay, not sending you to Japan to buy the same card for $100 less.
Is the Asia data actually real?
Every number is a real completed sale — never an asking price — pulled from the platforms Asia actually buys on: Mercari Japan, Snkrdunk, Yahoo! Japan, Xianyu, Dewu and 17 more. This isn't a data feed we bought — Asia is the market we live in.
Isn't arbitrage too hard or risky?
You don't need to know exchange rates, Japanese platforms or international shipping math. Hoshino does all of it and shows you the net dollars after every cost. You just decide yes or no — the same call you already make on every card.
Is $49 too expensive?
$49 is less than the net on one good flip — the Umbreon example on this page nets $117 after every fee. Find one deal like it in a month and Edge has paid for itself twice over, and it's hunting 24/7 while you're not.
I'm just a collector, not a dealer.
Then start free. Even if you never flip a card, knowing what yours really sell for — worldwide, not just the US — means you'll never overpay for a card or under-sell one again. Most people upgrade the day they see how much they were leaving on the table.
Can I import from Collectr or Card Ladder?
Yes. Export a CSV there, import it here. Cost basis carries over, holdings resolve automatically, and you can export a tax-ready CSV back out anytime. Nothing gets re-typed — and it's re-priced against the whole world the moment it lands.
Do I need to install an app? Can I cancel anytime?
Hoshino runs in your browser and installs to your home screen on iPhone and Android — no app store. And yes: cancel anytime, self-serve from Billing. Paid features run to the end of the period, then you drop to Free. Your data stays yours and stays exportable.
